Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel was a British actor who gained notoriety for her role as Missandei in HBO's epic fantasy "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-19). Emmanuel was raised in Southend-on-the-Sea the name of a resort located in Essex and became interested in the arts of performing from a young age. She was noticed by her mother that she was a performer, and at the age of Nathalie was three-years-old, her parents took her to acting, singing and dancing classes. Emmanuel was an accomplished actor who grew rapidly. By the end in the 1990s, she was playing an infant Nala in "The The Lion King" which was a West End musical that was a huge success. Emmanuel began to audition in her teens to film and television roles. Her first breakthrough came in 2007, when she was cast as Sasha Valentine, a British soap-opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95--). Emmanuel performed the part for four seasons, leaving the series in 2010. Emmanuel was given her first break just three years later as she was chosen in the role of Missandei in HBO's Game of Thrones. She was the Daenerys' interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel played in all seasons of "Game of Thrones" from the very beginning to the series' final episode.
